Company: Light Showers
The Problem: Water features are always accessible to the public; therefore, they should be disinfected more regularly to be more suitable for human contact — the only sure method of disinfection is the use of UV-C sanitizing light. E. Coli is the major contamination microbe in the park's water.
The Solution: The strategy that we used to meet this project's disinfection criteria was ultraviolet disinfection, the most appropriate method for water cleaning. UV disinfection doesn't utilize any chemicals which might elicit the formation of disinfection by-products, especially chlorination. Such derivatives might not be fit for human consumption or usage.
We installed reactors at the Light Showers park for stormwater treatment. Each unit could be disinfected at a flow rate of 70 Liters/ Second; this allows 100% redundancy. We offer energy-efficient and effective UV solutions. The reactor can be adjusted to suit a more extensive range of flow.
The Results: We've been made an integral part of stormwater management solutions. The UV technology used is environmentally-friendly, and chlorine-resistant microorganisms are susceptible to this option.
