As 2025 winds down and the intrepid crew at Thomas FX prepares for our annual Holiday shutdown, we find ourselves reflecting on the eventful year behind us and looking forward with optimism. This season also reminds us of the strong relationships we've built – connections that have helped us grow, adapt, and thrive in an ever-changing industry. 
OUR NEW WORLD HAS NEW RULES
Due to the tariff war started by TRUMP against Canada, currently paused until early March: - Thomas FX will fill all new orders from our own inventory, while quantities last.
- All new orders of items from US-based companies will be by request only, and prepaid.
- TFX will no longer carry large inventories of production supplies imported from US-based companies.
Thomas FX Non-Contact Pickup Service
Thomas FX has re-opened "BY APPOINTMENT ONLY", for the time being, and has introduced "No Contact Pickup Service" to keep us all. Here is a photo of Betty helping our first "BY APPOINTMENT", "Post COVID-19" Lockdown, store customers.

Very special thanks to Screenwriter Rick Drew. Last week, Rick dropped by just as we were closing for the day and gave us this vintage Thomas Special Effects belt buckle. Originally designed by John and Betty Thomas, only a handful were made and given to very special people, like Rick.

If you think the world is going to end, or if you are afraid of dying in a global pandemic, there is probably not much you can do about any of the macro challenges in the world today.
